Founder, CEO & CTO

Sharad Chaurasia

Every enduring company begins with a moment of clarity. For Sharad, that moment came during a quiet evening in Manali in 2022, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and the kind of stillness that changes perspective. A first-generation entrepreneur from Varanasi who had already built a successful transport business across North India, he saw more than a beautiful destination—he saw how much better the travel experience could be. He returned with a clear vision, brought together the people he trusted most and built AKS Hospitality from the ground up. As CEO, he leads the company’s strategy and guest experience; as CTO, he has shaped the CRM, AI booking assistant and digital systems that connect sales, bookings and operations.

Ashrut Sood

Ashrut Sood

Born in Shimla, Ashrut has always had a natural connection with the mountains. An engineer turned entrepreneur, he was already building ventures in Noida when the pandemic reshaped both work and travel. His move to Manali helped him develop deep roots in the local hospitality ecosystem, and when Sharad shared the vision for AKS, he joined from the very beginning. As Co-Founder, Ashrut brings entrepreneurial discipline, trusted relationships and an enduring commitment to the company’s long-term growth. He supports business development, strategic partnerships and the expansion of the AKS hospitality network.

Kisalay Raghuvanshi
Co-Founder & Head of Operations

Kisalay Raghuvanshi

Raised in the misty hills of Bomdila in North East India, Kisalay understands the rare feeling of being far from home yet completely at peace. His journey took him from Jaunpur to Mumbai’s corporate world before he chose to build something closer to travel and hospitality. As Co-Founder and Head of Operations, he runs the engine that keeps AKS moving—managing vendors, logistics, itineraries and on-ground coordination. The smooth journeys guests experience are supported by operating systems and partner relationships that he continues to build and refine every day.

Tarun Singh
Partner, Strategic Advisor & Board Member

Tarun Singh

Tarun is more than an advisor to AKS—he is a long-standing believer in its potential. An IIT Delhi alumnus and Sharad’s childhood friend, he brings experience from product and enterprise leadership roles across high-growth organisations including Blinkit, Tata 1mg and Airtel. As a Partner, Board Member and Strategic Advisor, Tarun helps the leadership team think at scale, make sharper product decisions and pursue disciplined growth. His perspective helps AKS evolve from a strong travel business into a trusted, enduring hospitality brand.
